I love explaining concepts to people and understand that each student has a particular teaching method that is optimal for learning for them. In tutoring I get a feel for how each student approaches problems (whether it be in math or science or even essay writing) and decide where to proceed from there.
For SAT tutoring I feel like there is a much more efficient way of studying for the SAT than going to a prep class and just sitting there in their classes. There is a certain flow/ predictability of SAT questions and answers and I can help you understand.
I also do college essay and application tutoring. I've learned from my mistakes during the application cycle and begun to understand what the colleges are looking for. I can help your application go from a typical cookie cutter app to one which seems unique and stands out to adcoms.
HobbiesTennis, reading about new material, and research (I love to talk about my hobbies so if you're curious feel free to ask!)
