During the time I attended school for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I tutored English to international students, and taught both French and Japanese as a foreign language to English speakers. After graduation, I moved to Japan where I taught English for two years, and then I returned to the US to teach Music. Teaching students one-to-one is an opportunity for the instructor and pupil to work in a relaxed environment where there is time for a detailed explanation, when needed.
