I am a certificated educator who has spent over a decade working with high school students. My teaching career includes experience at both public and private schools, and I have written and implemented curriculum for a wide range of literature and writing classes. However, my passion is quite specific: helping students find and express their voices through clear and powerful writing. My strong belief in the importance of the writing process has guided my more recent work, as I have focused my energies on teaching students how to view their own (and others') written work critically, and work to improve their pieces to their own satisfaction.
