Experience
I am currently working toward my degree in Business Administration at Pepperdine U., minoring in Mathematics, and I hope to earn my master's in Business soon as well. I've instructed nearly every age group in a variety of activities, from swimming to youth ministry to math. I especially enjoy tutoring students in math, in part because I love the subject, but also because I know that math is a tough subject for many students. I like to take my time working with students so they can understand how to use math and why certain equations apply, and I find the excitement of new understanding on my students' faces to be a great reward. I cultivate patience and understanding when teaching, and I work closely with my tutoring students so I can help them at their own pace. I hope all of my students learn to love solving math problems as much as I do, because I feel that it is something I could do in my spare time just for fun! In addition to math, I enjoy baking, reading, piano, and quality time with my pet dog and my family.
